End of Life Care in Neurological Patients

Following the huge success of the two meetings in 2009, we are pleased to announce another date and venue for 2010.

This event has been developed as an identified training need by the National Council for Palliative Care (NCPC) Neuro Policy Group. Partners supporting this are NCPC, Royal College of Nursing (RCN), British Geriatrics Society (BGS) Movements Disorders Section and Neurological Commissioning Support (NCS).

This conference is designed for all those involved in managing people with neurological diseases whether as service providers, commissioners, carers or patients. It will be particularly useful for those who have not seen managing end stage neurological diseases as a central part of their role.

  • Clinicians and Nurse specialists working in neurology e.g. Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, MND
  • Hospice and specialist palliative care workers
  • Care home managers, Social workers, service managers
  • Service commissioners
